Dani Williams represents clients in responding to claims and defending administrative proceedings involving discrimination, workplace investigations, employment agreements, wage-and-hour disputes, personnel actions, and compliance matters. Dani focuses her practice on managing prelitigation claims with the goal of avoiding costly court actions. She regularly investigates claims, engages in mediation and settlement negotiations, and prepares position statements before the EEOC and state agencies. When the need for litigation arises, Dani also represents clients defending actions in both state and federal courts.

Dani brings a strong litigation background and practical insight into how courts evaluate employment disputes. Her experience managing cases in state and federal courts through all stages of litigation, including trial strategy, motions practice, discovery, depositions, and settlement negotiations, is invaluable in assessing risk and determining the best strategy to avoid protracted litigation. Before joining DWT, she practiced employment law at a Virginia-based corporate firm and served as a staff attorney for the Chesapeake Circuit Court, where she analyzed briefs and evidence, drafted bench memoranda and opinions, and advised judges on procedural and substantive legal issues in all aspects of civil practice. Her previous experience also includes representing corporate clients in civil litigation, including maritime, railroad, business, contract, and property disputes.
