Ray Williams is a Seattle-based attorney focused on technology, intellectual property, and commercial strategy. His practice centers on helping technology, media, and entertainment clients navigate the evolving legal and operational landscape surrounding global licensing, sponsorships, digital media, advertising and AdTech, data governance, and emerging technologies.

Ray advises clients on the development, protection, and commercialization of brand and IP assets, offering practical guidance on issues arising at the intersection of content, data, and technology. His work spans the full lifecycle of IP and technology assets and includes drafting governance frameworks and integrated advertising and AI policies that promote brand safety, responsible data use, and compliant adoption of next generation tools. He also supports deal teams as an IP and technology advisor on M&A and complex commercial transactions.

Building on experience with tech policy and platform driven business models, Ray helps organizations anticipate risks and operationalize innovative capabilities. He leverages cross disciplinary exposure to support clients navigating novel issues in digital transformation, consumer engagement, and modern commerce.

Ray is active in the Future of Privacy Forum and the National Society of Black Sports Professionals. He is committed to developing a forward looking legal practice that blends brand protection, technology counseling, and strategic impact.
