For more than 50 years, SIFMA's C&L Annual Seminar has united compliance and legal professionals to learn, collaborate, and strengthen the integrity of our industry. This year, attendees can expect to:

  • Engage in mainstage discussions and 70+ CLE-eligible sessions featuring the industry's top voices on today's most pressing issues: artificial intelligence, digital assets, regulatory change, enforcement and exams, and more.
  • Explore the latest services, products, and solutions in the interactive Exhibit Hall and intimate Lunch & Learn sessions with leading firms and providers.
  • Build meaningful relationships with peers across the industry: general counsels, senior compliance and legal officers, regulators, consultants, and more.
  • Gain the insights, connections, and perspectives they need to strengthen their organization and advance their career.

On Monday, March 23, join Partners Russell Fecteau, Liz Davis and Barry O'Connell during an insightful Lunch & Learn session titled "Emerging Priorities at the SEC, CFTC, and FINRA and Practical Tips for Advocacy." Now that a year has passed with the current Administration, this session will offer insights into the priorities that have emerged from the SEC, CFTC, and FINRA, while offering practical tips for advocating on behalf of clients in front of these regulators. The DWT team will provide their perspectives and insights into the leadership and senior management, unpack the process changes affecting enforcement that have come into place with the Administration’s deregulatory agenda, and delve into the areas of additional changes and rulemaking that may be forthcoming, including with regard to cross-agency harmonization efforts, crypto, and prediction markets.

On Tuesday, March 24, Partner Tony Valenzuela will join the panel "Caught The Car - Now What? Crypto and Retail Investors." This panel will discuss:

  • Transformation of the regulatory environment
  • Legislative developments and emerging legal clarity
  • Global regulatory & compliance challenges
  • Customer choices for engaging in crypto transactions

On Wednesday, March 25, Partner Ted Snyder will join the panel "Compliance, Legal, and Risk: Collaboration in Action." This panel will discuss:

  • Building and sustaining high-value relationships across legal, risk and compliance
  • Collaboration tactics in a dynamic legal, compliance, and risk environment
