RE+ is the largest clean energy event in North America, focusing on the business of solar, energy storage, hydrogen, wind, microgrids, and EVs.

On Monday, November 16th, counsel Molly Baker will join the panel, "Shortcuts That Cost Millions: How To Build Projects When Least Cost Becomes Most Expensive."

As the industry continues to expand renewables development in untraditional areas, there are unintended consequences to continuing to design for the least cost of initial capital. From operations and maintenance to long-term environmental and surrounding landowner impacts, the unintended consequences can negatively affects the industry. This panel will discuss approaches to improving technology competitiveness, highlighting and contrasting the priorities of engineers, developers, and Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) firms to better understand how to best balance design, construction, and operations.
