US Senators have recently introduced a bill, called the Creating Opportunities Now for Necessary and Effective Care Technologies (CONNECT) for Health Act, which would improve access to telehealth by waiving a number of Medicare's telehealth coverage restrictions. Both the American Medical Association and the American Telemedicine Association support the bill.
