JUNE 26, 2019 – California legal news site, The Recorder, a publication of American Lawyer Media, has named Don Buder to its inaugural list of California Trailblazers.
Buder is a partner in the San Francisco office of Davis Wright Tremaine. He serves as a strategic advisor and corporate counsel to food and beverage, food-tech, and ag-tech innovators, entrepreneurs, and investors.

Buder was particularly recognized by The Recorder for his success in founding Naturally Bay Area, a collaboration hub for Northern California's natural products innovation community and the first regional affiliate of Colorado-based Naturally Boulder. Buder won approval from the Naturally Boulder board to launch the group and recruited 25 leaders in the food and natural products venture community to oversee it.
In just its first year, the group drew 300 paid members, including company founders, early-stage and scaling brands, prospective entrepreneurs, private equity firms, service providers, and larger companies committed to serving the food and natural products innovation community.
