OCTOBER 5, 2020 – John Goldmark, a Davis Wright Tremaine litigator and key member of the firm's cannabis industry practice group, has been named a 2020 MVP of the Year in Cannabis by the editors of Law360.
Goldmark recently served as lead litigation counsel in several high-profile matters for marquee cannabis clients, including Tilray, Privateer, Left Coast Ventures, and Leafly. His practice focuses on complex litigation arising from disputes over everything from intellectual property and contracts to ownership interests and distribution.
A partner in the firm's Seattle office, Goldmark brings rare versatility to the cannabis space. His broad experience includes handling significant cases in jurisdictions around the country, thanks in part to his extensive work for one of the world's largest technology companies.
His community service includes serving as a longtime trustee of the Legal Foundation of Washington, which builds support for civil legal aid for low-income people across the state.
