SEPT. 26, 2022 – Continuing a streak that began in 2016, Davis Wright Tremaine's media and entertainment team has again been recognized for national leadership in media and entertainment, as New York partner Rachel Strom was selected as a 2022 MVP of the Year.
Strom was honored for her successes this past year in high-stakes litigation on behalf of clients including Showtime, Netflix, and Vice Media.
Strom joins a long list of previous Davis Wright MVPs in this practice area that includes Laura Handman (2016), Kelli Sager (2017), Liz McNamara (2018), Kate Bolger (2019), Peter Anderson (2020), and Ambika Kumar (2021).
"Being a great lawyer, it's an apprenticeship job," Strom told Law360 in an interview. "You don't learn how to be a lawyer in law school. You only learn being around great lawyers and them showing the way."
Strom was previously named a Rising Star by both Law360 (2018) and the New York Law Journal (2019).
