OCT. 2, 2024 – For the second consecutive year, the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) has recognized Davis Wright Tremaine LLP as a leader in building a more inclusive legal profession and honored the firm with two awards for its work with the organization.

The firm was named to LCLD's 2024 list of Top Performers, which recognizes those organizations who were most engaged with LCLD programs and activities throughout the year. The firm was also named a winner of LCLD's 2024 Compass Award, which recognizes organizations that have hit a number of benchmarks in their LCLD participation.

These benchmarks include:

  • Managing partner engagement. Davis Wright's new firmwide managing partner, Jaime Drozd, recently published her Leadership Pledge here.
  • Nominate an LCLD Fellow. Stephen Franz, an employment lawyer in our Los Angeles office, is serving as the firm's LCLD Fellow this year.
  • Nominate an LCLD Pathfinder. Davis Wright's Pathfinders this year are Rachel Douglas, formerly an employment lawyer in our Los Angeles office, and Claudia Lin, a technology lawyer in our Seattle office.
  • Participate in an LCLD Pipeline Program. Davis Wright is a strong participant in the LCLD's 1L Scholars Program as well as the Success in Law School Mentoring Program. This year we hosted the Spring Reception for the Seattle 1L mentor pairings in our Seattle office.
