MAY 28, 2025 – Kelli Sager and Elizabeth Zee, both partners in the media and entertainment practice group at Davis Wright Tremaine LLP in Los Angeles, have been named to the Daily Journal's 2025 list of California's Top 100 Women Lawyers.
The Daily Journal described Sager as "a prominent media and entertainment law litigator" and "often sought by clients facing complex defamation, privacy, and related content claims." The paper noted her recent representation of clients including the Los Angeles Times, Associated Newspapers LLC, and Warner Bros. entities.
Zee, the chair of DWT's entertainment transactions subgroup, "leverages her 25 years of experience in the entertainment industry," the Daily Journal wrote, "in negotiating a wide range of industry deals…as well as advising on clearance and copyright issues and analyzing highly complex chain-of-title matters."
