NOV. 2, 2026 – Recognizing a long list of significant wins she's secured for leading media and entertainment clients, Law360 has named Davis Wright Tremaine LLP's Elizabeth McNamara a 2026 MVP of the Year in Media & Entertainment.

This past year, McNamara, a partner in the firm's New York office, prevailed in litigation on behalf of a host of clients, including NBCUniversal Media, Amazon Studios, journalist Bob Woodward, Paramount, Business Insider, Der Spiegel, and Hachette Book Group. She successfully defended her clients in a wide range of claims, including defamation, copyright infringement, trademark dilution, and more.

This is McNamara's second time receiving the MVP honor and marks the eleventh consecutive year that a DWT partner has been recognized in this category.

DWT's previous MVP honorees in media and entertainment are: Katherine Bolger (2025, 2019), Rachel Strom (2024, 2022), Nathan Siegel (2023), Ambika Kumar (2021), Peter Anderson (2020), McNamara (2018), Kelli Sager (2017), and Laura Handman (2016).

The latest MVP award adds to McNamara's extensive collection of recent honors, which include being named "Lawyer of the Year" for New York City in her areas of practice five times by Best Lawyers, multiple appearances on The Hollywood Reporter's list of the country's top entertainment attorneys, and a Star ranking from Chambers USA (the highest available) both nationally and in New York.
