Thursday, January 21, 2016 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. EST Join us for a discussion of the CFPB’s latest CARD Act Report and its potential impact on the credit card market, jointly presented by Davis Wright Tremaine’s Payments Team and the Financial Services Roundtable. We’ll explore the concerns expressed by the CFPB, including not only such “headline” issues as rewards features and terms and deferred interest products, but also the many other concerns called out at various points in the lengthy Report. We’ll also discuss some strategies for risk-mitigation and for interacting with the CFPB on these issues. Richard Foster, Senior Vice President & Senior Counsel for Regulatory and Legal Affairs at the FSR, will moderate the conversation among experts in the regulation of credit cards, including:
  • Andrew Owens, Davis Wright Tremaine
  • Adam Maarec, Davis Wright Tremaine
  • In-house counsel (Invited/TBD)
