This is a reminder that FCC regulatory fees for fiscal year 2002 must be paid by Wednesday, Sept. 25, to avoid a 25 percent late fee. Regulatory fees for broadcast licensees are based on licenses and construction permits issued as of Oct. 1, 2001. Regulatory fees for cable systems and commercial wireless telecommunications providers are based on the total number of subscribers as of Dec. 31, 2001. If there has been a change of ownership since the relevant date, fees are payable by the current owner. Additional information may be found on the FCC’s website at http://www.fcc.gov/fees/regfees.html. Please let us know if you need any assistance in computing the fees or coordinating payment or if you have any questions concerning this matter.

Additionally, the FCC has increased all application processing fees effective Sept. 10, 2002. For information on current fees, you may contact us or visit the FCC’s website at http://www.fcc.gov/fees/appfees.html.
