The FCC will soon disburse up to $9 billion under Phase II of the CAF program to bring broadband service to unserved areas. To ensure that these subsidies are not used to overbuild broadband providers' service areas those providers must file effective "challenges" to the FCC's designation of unserved areas.

This webinar presented an overview of the challenge process and outline strategies for filing effective challenges to ensure these subsidies are not used to overbuild existing service areas. DWT attorneys have previously filed successful challenges to thousands of census block designations in Phase I and shared their insight into filing effective challenges in this proceeding.
