Change of Ownership Restrictions/PPP Loans
- PPP borrowers must notify their SBA lenders upon a change of ownership.
- PPP loans are treated as SBA 7(a) loans in most instances.
- SBA 7(a) lenders must seek prior approval from SBA for a change in ownership for borrowers occurring within 12 months after final disbursement.
