Anna Fero is an associate in the energy group at the law firm of Davis Wright Tremaine LLP. She helps clients navigate federal and state energy policy, and provides counsel on a range of regulatory, compliance, litigation, and transactional matters. In an energy sector undergoing constant technological, structural, and regulatory evolution, Anna identifies potential risks and collaborates with clients to find practical and smart solutions, allowing her clients to pursue business goals with confidence.

The bulk of Anna's practice focuses on representing stakeholders before the California Public Utilities Commission and other state agencies. Together with the other members of the DWT energy practice group, Anna represents clients in energy-related rulemaking and ratemaking proceedings, agency applications and approvals, litigation and dispute resolution. She also counsels clients on regulatory compliance matters and energy-related contracts. Anna's clients include an array of regulated entities and other stakeholders, such as developers and energy producers (including offshore wind, solar and battery, geothermal, natural gas, fuel cell, oil pipeline and terminaling clients), small utilities and community choice aggregators, industry associations, tribal governments, demand response providers, technology companies, as well as various private equity and investment banks on their energy investments. Her experience as a practitioner in California Public Utilities Commission proceedings also allows her to effectively represent clients in other CPUC-regulated industries, such as transportation and telecommunication.
