Anuj Goyal is a versatile IP, entertainment, and transactional attorney with over a decade of experience in television scripted and non-scripted development, production, and distribution. An Oxford graduate, published author, and trained BBC producer, Anuj brings a creative and journalistic background to his business affairs and legal career. He is a skilled studio dealmaker, negotiating numerous IP, ATL, and first-look agreements with A-list producers, actors, and writers. Anuj has experience negotiating high-value licensing deals for globally recognized properties—particularly, Japanese and Korean franchises—and their U.S. adaptations. Admitted to practice in both California and the U.K., Anuj has a proven track record navigating cross-jurisdictional projects for major properties, productions, and platforms such as Amazon, Netflix, and Showtime. Before joining DWT, Anuj was the go-to business and legal affairs attorney on flagship scripted projects at ITV Studios America and Tomorrow Studios.
Anuj is an active member of both the Television Academy and BAFTA, and served on the board of the Hollywood Radio & Television Society (Associates).
