Robert Kent

Robert Kent is an attorney in the firm's litigation group. He helps clients respond to a range of legal demands with clear, practical guidance that is mindful of the pressures these matters can place on their business. Drawing on nearly two decades of litigation experience, Robert supports companies through document preservation, data collection, productions, depositions, and other sensitive obligations while working to minimize disruption.

Robert's background includes managing complex patent, trade secret, and commercial litigation for technology companies in federal courts, before the International Trade Commission, and in proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. He also advises on litigation strategy, risk mitigation, and business-focused dispute resolution involving technologies such as network infrastructure, enterprise security hardware and software, mobile device security, wireless communications, and IP telephony.

Before practicing law, Robert worked as a software engineer and technology consultant, giving him a strong technical foundation for clients facing complex operational, discovery, and technology issues.
