Baron Ojogho is a Los Angeles-based entertainment and sports attorney who advises clients on the acquisition, development, production, financing, licensing, and distribution of content across film, television, sports, and digital media. He negotiates complex transactions and provides practical legal counsel throughout the content lifecycle.
Baron has advised leading sports, media, and entertainment companies, including the NFL, Netflix, Amazon, Fox, ITV, and ESPN, on high-profile productions, live broadcasts, and content transactions. He served as lead production counsel for the inaugural NFL on Netflix Christmas Day games in 2024, which became the most-streamed NFL broadcast in U.S. history and reached tens of millions of viewers worldwide.
His experience also includes advising on media-rights matters involving the Premier League, PGA Tour, and LA28 Olympic Games, providing insight into the commercial structures and rights frameworks that underpin some of the world's most valuable sports properties. This work has given him a unique perspective on the intersection of content, technology, live events, and sports media.
Baron is a frequent speaker on entertainment and sports transactions and the evolving media landscape. He also serves as a course contributor to USC Gould School of Law's Executive Education program, Entertainment Dealmaking, where he contributed curriculum content and industry interviews focused on entertainment negotiations, content acquisition, talent economics, financing, distribution, and strategic dealmaking.
