Baron E. Ojogho

Baron Ojogho is an associate in DWT's entertainment group. He assists with development, acquisition, and production issues, for scripted and unscripted media, and provides counsel to entertainment professionals involved in television, film, and streaming.
Baron has well-rounded experience within the entertainment industry. He can offer legal advice in real time directly to production teams to ensure compliance on set. Behind the scenes, he secures complex distribution deals, IP licensing, and rights agreements that are crucial to getting creative projects off the ground and to consumers. Baron is also a key player in multimillion-dollar mergers, acquisitions, spinoffs, and reorganizations. He has provided in-house legal representation for one of the world's largest mass media multinationals, as well as outside consulting on standards and practices for major studios.
Baron began practicing law as a corporate finance attorney on Wall Street. His experience outside of entertainment law includes: corporate and fund formations, private equity, financings, bankruptcy, and 501(c)(3) formations. He also has counseled active and former NFL players.
