Sam Turner is a member of Davis Wright Tremaine's media and entertainment group where he helps media, entertainment, and tech companies navigate complex litigation related to copyright, defamation, right of publicity, trademark, the First Amendment, and anti-SLAPP. He also actively counsels clients on a variety of pre-broadcast and pre-publication issues, including fair use, defamation, and copyright termination.
Sam previously served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Laurel Beeler of the U.S. District Court, Northern District of California, and the Honorable Consuelo B. Marshall of the U.S. District Court, Central District of California.
