Haley Zoffer, a member of the firm's media and entertainment group, focuses on IP and technology matters. She counsels and advocates on behalf of leading entertainment companies, content creators, tech innovators, and consumer products companies. She also has a proven track record in First Amendment litigation, representing journalists and authors on bedrock media law matters. Haley is especially tuned in to AI trends and regulations that impact her clients.
A former law clerk at the Federal Circuit, Haley is well versed in patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret disputes. She has experience in government contract regulations and litigation, single-plaintiff and class actions, and appeals. Before becoming a lawyer, Haley worked for a multinational technology company, where she managed a large software portfolio. In addition to serving media and technology clients, Haley is committed to pro bono. She has successfully represented asylum seekers in affirmative proceedings and in appeals before the 9th Circuit.
