JUNE 5, 2019 – In recognition of the firm's exceptional record of achievement in advancing diversity and inclusion across the legal industry, Davis Wright Tremaine was honored with the T-Mobile 2018 Diversity Excellence Award. The award was presented at a recent meeting of the company's legal department at T-Mobile headquarters in Bellevue, Wash.
"Inclusion is central to the strategic focus of our firm," said Danielle Frappier, Washington, D.C.-based chair of Davis Wright Tremaine's communications practice, who was on hand to accept the award, along with Dan Waggoner, Seattle-based client relationship partner for T-Mobile, and Giancarlo Urey, an employment litigator in our Los Angeles office. "We view the promotion of diversity as not only the right thing to do but as an outright business imperative. As we continue to make significant investments in this effort, we deeply appreciate the support and the push from like-minded clients like T-Mobile to make sure we are all moving the ball forward."
