February 2, 2022 – Laura Warf, a partner in the Portland office of Davis Wright Tremaine, has been named to the 2022 list of Rising Star Dealmakers by Global M&A Network.
Warf provides transactional advice and strategy to food and beverage brands, restaurants, and other consumer companies, particularly through periods of transformational growth and change. Her experience representing companies through strategic growth investments and M&A deals informs and supports her general counsel work with clients at earlier stages of development.
Warf's recent career highlights include representing Flynn Restaurant Group in its bid process and acquisition of a 1,000+-unit nationwide restaurant portfolio from NPC International. The $552 million transaction was one of the five largest hospitality deals of 2020 (per Dealogic, via Law360) and made Flynn the largest franchise operator in the country.

Warf received her B.A. from Linfield University and her J.D. from Lewis & Clark Law School, both summa cum laude. Last year she was selected to the list of Oregon Rising Stars by Thomson Reuters' Super Lawyers.
Warf is a co-host of the Davis Wright Tremaine podcast, Law on the Run, which addresses legal issues for companies in the health and fitness industries.
