AUGUST 1, 2022 – INSP, LLC, and Cox Media Group (CMG) announced today that they have closed a transaction for CMG's sale of 18 broadcast television stations in 12 markets to Imagicomm Communications, LLC (Imagicomm), an affiliate of INSP.
Davis Wright Tremaine LLP was pleased to represent INSP and Imagicomm in the transaction.
The acquisition includes affiliates of ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, and Telemundo in communities across the country and is part of INSP's broad corporate strategy to expand its media ownership across multiple entertainment platforms.
An interdisciplinary team drawn from seven Davis Wright Tremaine offices assisted in the transaction, with leadership from Burt Braverman, Matthew LeMaster, Stuart Campbell, Jisoo Kim, and Melanie Broome.
