By Naazaneen Hodjat, Gillian Murphy, Katharine Tylee Herz, and Angela Vogel
12.05.18
This interactive workshop covered Washington’s new Paid Family and Medical Leave Program. With employer obligations beginning in January 2019, DWT attorneys have been fielding a lot of client questions about the complexities of the new program. We gave a brief overview of the program, then turned to a moderated session. We covered key issues, including:
- What are you doing to prepare?
- What questions do you still have about compliance with the new law?
- How does the new law intersect with benefits and leave laws?
- What are the rules if you already have a voluntary plan?
