With vaccine mandates rolling out across the country, including some state-mandated vaccines for certain industries, it can be confusing to understand what this means for employers. Washington state employers need to know their obligations, implementation strategy, and how to plan ahead for the coming weeks and months.

In this webinar, DWT partners Katharine Tylee Herz and Mark Berry, DWT associate Kristina Markosova, and DWT counsel Angela Vogel, discussed these and other important issues regarding COVID-19 developments in Washington including:

  • A Current Overview of COVID-19 in Washington State
  • Washington's Mandatory Vaccine Proclamation: Who is Covered and What Does It Mean for Employers?
  • HELSA: An Overview and Requirements, including High Risk Employee Protections
  • COVID-19 Outbreaks: What Do We Do When Employees Test Positive?

The program consisted of one hour of substantive presentation, followed by a question and answer period. Attendees were invited to submit questions in advance of this webinar.

(On-demand versions are not eligible for CLE credit.)
