As more companies look to biometric technologies to help manage the lasting effects of the pandemic, promote security, and improve user experiences, states across the country are looking to amend or enact laws regulating biometric data. And with its private right of action, New York City's newly enacted biometric privacy law in particular is getting a lot of attention. This panel covers the latest developments in legislation, litigation, and enforcement (including recent Federal Trade Commission enforcement).

Speakers:

  • Thomas Cioce, Privacy Counsel, National Football League
  • K.C Halm, Partner, Davis Wright Tremaine LLP
  • Micaela McMurrough Partner, Covington & Burling LLP
