New year, new administration, and a new era of compliance obligations for the flow of Americans' personal data. In the final days of the Biden Administration, the Department of Justice released a Final Rule targeting foreign access to sensitive U.S. data, including Americans' "bulk" sensitive personal data.

In this webinar, Michael Borgia (Partner and Lead of our Information Security Practice) and Assaf Ariely (Associate) discussed in detail the Final Rule's limitations on access to "bulk U.S. sensitive personal data" and "government-related data" by "countries of concern" and "covered persons," the new compliance requirements, and the Rule's potential impact on various sectors and industries.
