DWT's Information Security Team Launches 'Security in Practice' Webinar Series

DWT's Information Security and Data Breach Response team is excited to announce a new webinar series for 2023. Our "Security in Practice" series will focus on how companies can address practical issues they face when building an information security program and preparing for potential security incidents. Topics will include:

• Designing effective tabletop exercises to improve your security program and educate your stakeholders;
• Creating incident response plans that actually will be useful in an incident;
• Conducting risk assessments that both meet legal requirements and provide actionable information to your risk management program; and
• Managing third-party risks—without burying yourself in questionnaires and audits.

Our "Security in Practice" webinars will feature DWT attorneys, cybersecurity experts from our digital forensics and consulting partners, in-house counsel and others providing practical guidance on how to tackle these and other issues.

Our first webinar of the series, titled "Strategies for an Effective Cyber Tabletop Exercise," (please register here) will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2023. Future installments will be announced several weeks in advance. Recordings of each webinar will be uploaded to our Insights page shortly after the live broadcast.
