The SEC has finalized its Cybersecurity Risk Management, Strategy, Governance, and Incident Disclosure rule for public companies (the "Final Rule"). Among other things, the Final Rule requires public companies to disclose "material" cybersecurity incidents within four business days and describe their cyber risk management, strategy and governance practices in annual filings.

DWT's Privacy and Security and Financial Services practices led a webinar discussing the Final Rule, its implications for public companies, and how companies can prepare to comply.
