MARCH 10, 2023 – For the second time in five years, T-Mobile has recognized Davis Wright Tremaine LLP with the company's 2023 Excellence in Diversity Award.
The award was presented to Davis Wright attorneys by T-Mobile's general counsel, Mark Nelson, at an all-hands meeting of the company's legal department last week in Bellevue, Wash.
T-Mobile, a longtime Davis Wright client, recognized the firm for its consistent work to integrate diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) into all aspects of firm management and decision-making. Around 30 firms were under consideration for this year's award.

The leaders of Davis Wright's T-Mobile team, who include Johnson, Portia Moore, Suzanne Toller, Steve Rummage, and Dan Waggoner, have made steadfast efforts to build diverse teams on T-Mobile matters.
Firmwide, Davis Wright has dedicated significant resources to DEI initiatives and innovations and been nationally recognized for its achievements. The firm's renowned pro bono program was also identified by T-Mobile as an important means by which Davis Wright puts its DEI values into practice.
