NOV. 6, 2023 – For the fifth straight year, the Diversity and Flexibility Alliance has recognized Davis Wright Tremaine LLP as a "Tipping the Scales" honoree. The award recognizes firms whose partner promotions included at least 50% women.
Davis Wright was one of just two firms nationwide to be recognized as a five-time "Tipping the Scales" award winner.
The firm elevated 12 lawyers to partner in January of this year, seven of whom are women:

Davis Wright Tremaine's success in advancing women lawyers has been widely recognized. The firm was named a "Ceiling Smasher" in the most recent Law360 Glass Ceiling Report, which ranked Davis Wright in the top 5, among firms our size, for highest representation of women in equity partnership. Seramount also included Davis Wright among its 2023 Best Law Firms for Women, the firm's tenth straight appearance on the list.
The Diversity & Flexibility Alliance recently recognized Davis Wright's chief diversity, equity, and inclusion officer, Yusuf Zakir, with the organization's inaugural Cultural Catalyst award. The award was created this year to honor exceptional professionals in the areas of talent, diversity, and HR who have been "integral to transforming their organizational culture and embracing innovation, inclusion, and/or flexibility."
