SEPT. 4, 2025 – Bell Canada has announced the successful completion of its $3.65 billion acquisition of Ziply Fiber, a leading broadband service provider in the Pacific Northwest. Davis Wright Tremaine LLP advised Ziply Fiber on state and local regulatory matters in connection with the transaction.

Ziply Fiber will operate as a separate business unit and will continue to be headquartered in Kirkland, Wash., with its existing management team. Together, Bell and Ziply Fiber will offer enhanced value for existing and new customers in the Pacific Northwest as demand for faster, more reliable broadband service continues to grow. Bell Canada is a wholly owned subsidiary of BCE, Inc., Canada's largest communications company.

Mark Trinchero led a DWT team advising Ziply Fiber comprised of K.C. Halm, Bob Scott, Alan Galloway, and Heather Moelter.
