We have posted a recording of our August 8, 2023, webinar titled "SEC's New Cybersecurity Rule: Implications for Public Companies and Strategies for Compliance." The webinar was jointly hosted by Michael T. Borgia and Stephen J. Crimmins.

The SEC has finalized its Cybersecurity Risk Management, Strategy, Governance, and Incident Disclosure rule for public companies (the "Final Rule"). Among other things, the Final Rule requires public companies to disclose "material" cybersecurity incidents within four business days and describe their cyber risk management, strategy, and governance practices in annual filings. Our webinar discussed the Final Rule, its implications for public companies, and how companies can prepare to comply.

For more information about the Final Rule, please see our blog post.
