Education
Generating opportunities to elevate our individual and collective consciousness.
Whether we are training to acknowledge and mitigate unconscious bias, understanding and practicing anti-racism, engaging in book clubs and other internal discussions, or welcoming speakers on key issues, we are always learning. To be truly diverse, equitable, and inclusive, we must understand, accept, learn—and grow.
DEI Education Series
This monthly series focuses on celebrating heritage months and diving deep into issues of race, equity, and inclusion.
We've hosted a variety of speakers in this series, including a discussion with Nikole Hannah-Jones on The 1619 Project and a talk with "Caste" author Isabel Wilkerson where she discussed her book and her groundbreaking research. Other series highlights include a discussion of the Netflix documentary "Pray Away" (tackling the topic of conversion therapy), an event honoring veterans, and a session celebrating Black joy.
